Gospel Concerts Throughout history, men have used wood and string to craft acoustic instruments for the purpose of singing and praising God. David the Sheppard boy that would one day be King, “skillfully” played an ancient wooden instrument called the lyre to calm the spirit of King Saul. Brother's Keeper Bluegrass Band, led by Mike Faast, carries on this acoustic tradition by sharing their gospel music in the time tested style of Bluegrass. Their concerts consist of original Gospel music written by band members as well as hymns of the faith and traditional Bluegrass Gospel standards. Their concerts are designed to inspire the audience through lyrics that carry the message of Christ's love. Brother's Keeper concerts are guaranteed to move your heart and your feet! The Down Home Praise Set Brother's Keeper is dedicated to preserving the Hymns of the church by sharing them in what we call our "Down Home Praise Service". Brother Keeper can offer a refreshing contemporary experience by sharing the time tested hymns of the faith performed in the wonderful acoustic style of Bluegrass. While recognizing that many of the contemporary praise choruses are indeed inspiring, we think that many of the hymns are unequaled in both music and message.
